瑪珊妮 Marsannay被譽為「夜丘之金色大門」 La Porte d'Or de la Côte de Nuits，那是假設大家都是從北面第戎Dijon方向，而非從南面博納Beaune入夜丘。酒如其地，作為大門，瑪珊妮的酒不貴，作為了解布根地的入門，確實不錯。

早在7世紀，瑪珊妮已享負盛名，當時，富有名望的修道院、教會以及布根地公爵Dukes of Bourgogne等都在這裏擁有葡萄園。此外，瑪珊妮村的葡萄酒還是國王路易十四Louis XIV和路易十六Louis XVl餐桌上的常客。

瑪珊妮的紅酒擁有夜丘葡萄酒的典型特徵，其風格與鄰居菲珊村Fixin以及謝菲-香貝丹村 Gevrey-Chambertin 的葡萄酒類似。一般而言，瑪珊妮的紅葡萄酒色澤較深，香氣濃郁，以櫻桃、草莓、黑加倫子和藍莓等果味為主導，口感偏強勁，豐富，餘韻充滿肉質感。
